Choosability in 1938 - Design of the ballot paper

I have stumbled upon this interesting ballot paper dated back to 10 April 1938, when Austrian people had to decide whether they want to join Hitler's Reich or not.
You can notice how big the "Ja" - "Yes" is large and positioned in the centre of the ballot while "Nein" - "No" is much more smaller and positioned to the right. Wondering how big influence had this design on the people's decision. The Nazis claimed to have received 99.7% of the vote in favor.
